Wow that's a wonderful poem, you are so clever to be able to do poetry like that. Such a talented, honest and beautiful piece, I really enjoyed it. Thank you very much for sharing, lots of hugs, Trish 💜
Please excuse my delayed reply Trish. As always, I appreciate the time you've taken to leave me such a beautiful comment. Sending you lots of hugs and hoping for sunshine in your days. Love Sandra. Xx
That’s lovely Sandra, I had a space as well but found a way to help fill it. I was very concerned that Father’s Day would be a tipping point for Mark, Docs son, he went to a very low spot when his Dad died so much so he lost all his hair and when it started to regrow it was white!.
I decided to make a book for him of his father, lots of tears choosing the pictures but it soon filled a hole in my heart as i built the pages and created a lasting memory for us all. It’s so easy using vistaprint or any of those platforms. I had 5 printed, one each for those closest to Doc, it was a terrific way to celebrate Father’s Day and have a lasting album of memories to keep.
Hi Paula! Please excuse my very delayed reply. I can only imagine the tears shed while putting together such a beautiful keepsake for Doc's nearest and dearest. We went through so many photos for days and days to put together the photo presentation for Doug's funeral. I think that has burnt me out for a while when it comes to looking at and collating photographs of memories. I do love the idea of making a lasting album. I'm sure it was a gesture most welcomed by Docs grieving son and possibly quite cathartic for you as well. It's something I'd like to do in the future. Thanks so much for sharing. Love Sandra. Xx
