You amaze me with your writings, you say all that I felt and still feel so eloquently, itβs like we are tied together by the souls of our respective beloveds.
Memories good, sad and bad are what we hold on too. No one can take them away and why should they, they are apart of your life together and with each breath you are cherishing and sharing them with us. Thank you for being so open about your grief, many others out there you are helping even if you don't think so. Keep up the writing, I am so proud of you xx
Glad you are writing this...for now and into your future. Ask me how I know...I just do. I kept some of my writing about grief via moving and leaving the family and about getting my cancer diagnosis and through all that...and from being a writer (on the blog, or just for me) I can say that "feeling the feelings" and admitting them is the right way to go...as is, my now well-used saying "allow time to pass". Such a gift you are giving us Sandra, sharing your memories with us. What a privilege x
That's so beautiful Sandra, you have such wonderful memories with Doug xxxxx
Six years on and I still find solace in trees.
